In particular, it reflects the formal adoption of the Amber Valley Local Plan (2022-2040), which materially strengthens the policy position against development on this site, updates the housing land supply position, and refines the policy analysis accordingly. It also includes enhanced assessment of emerging national policy direction, including the Government’s infrastructure-led approach to housing delivery, alongside further clarification and strengthening of key arguments relating to Green Belt policy, sustainability, infrastructure provision and decision-making consistency.
